Johannes Brahms : Intermezzo in A Op.118 No.2

Brahms had the knack of turning simple ideas into great works of music, and this piano piece exemplifies that ability. Melodic ideas flow effortlessly to create something truly beautiful in its simplicity. Brahms was also very fond of the rippling effect when normal notes and triplets are played together, and you can hear this effect in the middle section which starts on page 3.
